Site-location clarification — 8 October 2026: Further information suggests that the proposal may concern land across the road from French Furze, rather than the field behind and uphill of the estate previously discussed here. The exact boundary has not been verified. The first questions are for Acorn to identify the site on a red-line plan, the legal landowner, applicant and delivery company, and the proposed access and drainage arrangements. This clarification does not remove our concerns about additional and cumulative pressure on village infrastructure.
A useful contribution says:
- What you want explained.
- Which plan, document or observation prompted the question, with its date and a public link where possible.
- What information would help answer it.
The evidence website has a starting list of questions for Acorn and an evidence library. If you share a drawing or response, distinguish a proposal from an approved plan and identify its source.
